He’s the one who makes my heart beat faster.

That I want to be with you more than I want to be with him
That you amaze me and inspire me more than he amazes me and inspires me.
That you make me feel happy more than he makes me feel happy.
That I pay more attention to you than I pay attention to him.
That you make me feel whole more than he makes me feel whole.
That I think I love you more than I love him.
But I will never tell you, because in the end I do love him. And I will refuse to become the sort of person that I detest and despise the most. I refuse to get going when the going gets tough. I refuse to give him up because things aren’t rainbows and butterflies. I refuse to let him go because you are pulling, and you don’t even know it.
Because in the end, you and I, we’re impossible.
And I will never let go of him until he lets go of me.
